Community Work

FATA Seminar 2016 – Oslo
In 2016, leaders, activists, and community members gathered in Oslo to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). The seminar focused on education, peacebuilding, and sustainable development, highlighting the voices of those working for positive change in the region. This event reflects our ongoing mission to empower communities, promote peace, and create lasting impact.

FATA – The Way to Peace through Education (Oslo, 2016)
Our founder, Zaiba Masud, represented Door of Peace at an international seminar hosted by the Embassy of Pakistan in collaboration with the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). Drawing from over a decade of experience as an education officer in FATA, she shared her vision of how education can be a powerful tool for peace in conflict-affected areas. This platform also addressed women’s rights, de-radicalization, and the role of inclusive education in building a future of hope for the tribal regions.
